Are the product measurements listed on the product descriptions accurate?

The majority of the measurements listed in the product descriptions come directly from the manufacturers.

If we come across what we deem to be a large discrepancy (more then an inch) between the measurement from the manufacturer and the actual product measurement, we may use our own measurement in the description. Either way, we think the measurements are for the most part quite reliable and we include them so the customer can get a clear idea of what they are ordering.

If you have a specific question about the size of an item, please contact us and we will be happy to measure it again for you, or give you more specifics, such as height and length.

I just received my stuffed animal and found a hole (or other damage), what can I do?

Please contact us immediately and accept our apology that your item arrived in that condition. Every item that we ship out is thoroughly hand inspected but we’re only human so we may miss an imperfection here and there. We will either replace the item or refund your money, you let us know which you prefer.

Of course, we do have some standards in place where returns are concerned so please check out our payment, shipping and returns section for the proper return procedure. (All returned items will be inspected to verify the product delivered was in damaged condition before we issue a refund or send a replacement item.)

What materials are the plush made out of & what ages are they intended for?

For starters, everything sold in our store is brand new and comes from reputable companies that make their plush out of all new materials, as well as non-toxic and non-allergenic materials. Aside from that, most of the plush are stuffed with polyester fibers and/or plastic pellets.

If you know what plush you are interested in purchasing but have some type of allergy or other medical issue regarding certain materials, we strongly suggest you contact us to find out exactly what the contents are before you make a purchase.

As for the age, if the manufacturer provides a recommended age limit for their product, it will be listed within the product description.Anything under the Baby category is safe for newborns and up, according to the manufacturer. Anything else that does not have an age recommendation is usually best for ages 3 and up.

Always be sure to remove all tags, plastic fasteners, stickers, and packaging materials from the toy before giving it to a baby or child.

Do you accept Paypal?

Yes. You can use your PayPal account to pay with a credit card or echeck. If you do not have a PayPal account and want to pay with credit card, you will still be transferred to PayPal's secured site to complete payment. You do not need to create an account if you do not have one, you will simply enter your credit card information. We are a PayPal verified business.

What does PayPal Verified mean?

From the PayPal Site: "Verified PayPal members have confirmed their financial identity by successfully completing PayPal's Verification process. The Verification process is a way for PayPal to gain additional proof of a member's identity in conjunction with our own authentication methods, and increases the security of our payment network for everyone."

I don't have a PayPal account, can I still pay with a credit card?

Yes, though you will still be sent to PayPal's secured site to complete payment. PayPal allows credit card purchases to be made through its site even if you do not have a PayPal account nor wish to create one.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes. You will enter your credit card information on http://www.paypal.com which is secured with 128 bit SSL. PayPal notifies us when you pay but they do not send us any of your credit card information.

That said, please note that the information you do input on our site, name, address, phone number and email, is secured as well. Once you enter your cart and begin the checkout procedure, all applicable pages are secured. You will be able to tell this by the lock symbol on the page. With the new Internet Explorer this symbol shows up right after the web address bar at the top of the page, with the older version it appears at the bottom corner of the page.

What are my payment options?

You can pay for your purchase any of the following ways:

With your PayPal account, with a credit card through PayPal without a PayPal account, or we will accept money orders or cashiers checks if you do not want to pay with a credit card.

We will not accept personal checks or cash. Please do not send them as we will not be responsible for lost or stolen cash or personal checks.

If you are paying with your PayPal account or with your credit card, payment must be completed immediately and the checkout process will take you to the PayPal site. If you are paying with a money order or cashiers check, print out the postal form and send it with your payment to the address listed on the form.

What are the available shipping options and how are shipping charges calculated?

We ship most orders via USPS Mail, via First Class or Priority which deliver to most places in the Continental U.S. in 3 to 5 days. Some extra large items may ship via USPS Parcel Post, UPS or FedEX and may have a longer delivery window. We ship every order with delivery confirmation which provides a tracking number so you can keep updated on your packages progress.

Shipping charges are predetermined by the value of the item(s) you are purchasing. Please see our payment, shipping & returns page for rate information. We charge what the post office charges us to ship a package plus a small handling fee. If we find a large discrepancy in the S&H charge vs. what we are actually able to ship your item for, we will refund you a portion of the S&H charge. If it costs us more to ship your item then we charged you, we pay for the difference.

We know that no one likes to pay a lot for shipping and we will always strive to keep our rates reasonable.

We can ship via USPS Express Mail as well. If you are interested in this service, we will send you an invoice with the difference between the normal service and the Express service. Please note, Express mail generally starts at about $15.00 a package and goes up from there. Also, Express Mail does not necessarily mean the package will be shipped overnight, usually the post office gives a 2 day guaranteed delivery with its Express service.

How long until I receive my package?

If an item is in stock, which is noted on each product page, we will ship it the next business day. USPS priority & first class mail packages usually arrive at your door within 3 to 5 business days, if you live in the continental United States.

Can I track my package?

Yes. We ship all orders with delivery confirmation which provides us with a tracking number that we pass on to you. After we print out your shipping label you should automatically receive an email with your tracking number. If you do not receive this email, please contact us and we will provide you with the number, or we can look it up for you.

To track your package, go to the USPS track & confirm page. Enter your confirmation number, hit the “go” button and you should be able to see the status of your package.

Will I be charged sales tax?

Only Pennsylvania residents will be charged a 6% sales tax. This tax is automatically added to your bill when your address is filled in and Pennsylvania is listed as your state of residence (this applies to billing address).

Can I order an out of stock item?

We do not usually allow Out of Stock purchases, unless otherwise noted on an items page, but if you are interested in something that is Out of Stock feel free to contact us about the item. We may be able to give you a good idea of if & when we expect it back in stock so that you will know when to check back on the site to order it.

Do you take International Orders?

Unfortunately, we no longer accept international orders through the store. This is because the post office raised its rates to a degree that we feel makes international shipping impractical. Not for us, but for any customers that would like to buy something from us.

International shipping starts at about $20 for a 1 lb. package and goes up from there. That’s the base rate and it already costs more then most of what we sell in the store! So we think that’s just too much and the best bet was to stop international services.

However, if you find something in our store that you really want and can find nowhere else, feel free to email us about it. Let us know your location and what you are interested in buying, and we can give you a quote. If you want to go ahead with the purchase, we will send you a separate invoice through PayPal rather than going through the store checkout system. Any international orders we accept must pay through PayPal.

We hope this helps and apologize for any inconvenience our general policy of not shipping internationally may cause, but we hate high shipping rates and don’t think it’s reasonable to ask our customers to pay that much to ship something to them.

What is your privacy policy?

Do you offer a price match guarantee if something you sell is sold for less elsewhere?

Unfortunately we can not offer a price match guarantee or we’d have to include a whole bunch of stipulations to guard against matching an eBay auction price, etc. However we do strive to keep our prices as competitive as we can when compared to other internet retailers who carry similar items.

We believe our shipping charges are already some of the lowest amongst comparable retailers which does add to the bottom line. You may come across someone selling something for $1.00 less then us at another online store but you may then be charged $2.00 extra for shipping.

Our goal is not necessarily to always be the lowest priced but it is to always be fair and reasonable with our pricing.

There is one notable exception with our competitive pricing and that is with our Douglas Cuddle Toy products. Douglas has a stipulation in its dealings with online retailers that we must meet a certain price point and are not to go lower than that specified point. We keep all of our Douglas items at the lowest possible price in keeping with their policy but we can not go lower because we honor our agreement with them and would like to continue to offer their products in our store.

I encountered an error while checking out and could not complete my purchase, what do I do now?

Please contact us via email or phone.

If you run into any problems whatsoever, please take a moment to let us know what happened, we deeply appreciate it and will do our best to remedy the situation.

We want the purchasing process on our site to be smooth and completely problem free from start to finish because if you run into problems, you may not want to shop with us again. We don’t want to lose your trust or patronage over an error we were not aware of, even though our site is tested many times a week to check that everything is working as it should be. But there can always be glitches and we don’t want to lose you due to a glitch.

Sometimes even though you could not complete your order we will still receive an email telling us you placed one. In this case, we will email you and ask if you wish to continue with the order or cancel it. We understand completely if you want to cancel the order, but ask that you give us a second chance.

Do I need to register with your site to make a purchase?

No, you do not need to register to make a purchase. When you start the checkout process you will be asked to enter your name, address, telephone number & e-mail because we need all of this information to get your order to you. From there, you will be transferred to paypal (where you also do not need to create an account to pay with your credit card) or you will print out an invoice if you are mailing in payment (money order or cashier's check only). After the payment is completed, you will return to our site and be asked if you would like to register but you certainly do not have to.

To register, all you would have to do is create a user name and password, and when you next visit the site you would just login with this info and all of your previous information would be remembered. If you are a regular visitor to the site, you might find it easier to register then inputting all of your information every time you make a purchase. But again, registering is by no means necessary and unless you do plan to be a repeat visitor, there is no reason to register with our site.
