Erin Myers. These are beautiful, heirloom quality Christmas stockings, handmade by me. I learned how to make these festive crocheted stockings from my Aunt. She gave me my first one when I was a baby and I’ve loved it since. Not only do I still have it 30 years later –and hang it proudly –but it’s still in great condition even though it was stuffed full of goodies year after year.
These stockings are lovely and will look wonderful hanging from wherever you choose to display them. I’m certain that you or your loved one will treasure them for years to come. Don't think of them only as Christmas gifts. A set of beautiful, handmade stockings would make a wonderful wedding or new baby gift.
This particular stocking is made up of red, green, and white squares joined together and topped off with an all white cuff. A sturdy crocheted hanger is attached to the cuff for ease of use. Please see the yarn swatches to get a better idea of the true color of the red and green yarn used. They are a burgundy red and hunter green.
