Erin Myers. These are beautiful, heirloom quality Christmas stockings, handmade by me. I learned how to make these festive crocheted stockings from my Aunt. She gave me my first one when I was a baby and I’ve loved it since. Not only do I still have it 30 years later –and hang it proudly –but it’s still in great condition even though it was stuffed full of goodies year after year.
These stockings are lovely and will look wonderful hanging from wherever you choose to display them. I’m certain that you or your loved one will treasure them for years to come.
This particular stocking is made up of green, red and white squares joined together and topped off with an all white cuff. A sturdy crocheted hanger is attached to the cuff for ease of use. Please see the yarn swatches below the stocking picture to get a better idea of the true color of the green and red yarns used. They are a hunter green and burgundy red.
