Russ Berrie. Trick & Treaters Collection. Some of our favorite & most classic Halloween characters have decided to change things up this year! Perhaps tired of being recognized and plagued by the paparazzi as they go door to door to collect their treats, these six clever creatures are wearing new costumes. And I hate to break it to them, but they're still kinda recognizable!
There's the ever popular skeleton, this year she's going with the princess in pink look. It's almost working for her what with the pink boots, cute little pink dress complete with puffy-ish sleeves and of course the lovely princess hat with a shiny gold crown.
There's the black cat we're always looking out for. But maybe we'll let her cross our path this year cause she's disguised as a witch, decked out in a tall pink striped hat and a shiny pink cape.
Then there's the bat, but I don't think he tried too hard cause he's dressed up as a vampire. Did he even have to add the fangs or are they his?? He is wearing a nice little tuxedo-look top with a red bow tie and a black & red cape.
There's Frankenstein, looking cute as a button in his pumpkin costume. This look sorta works for him cause we could be momentarily fooled into thinking his head is just a big green worm coming out of the pumpkin.
The mummy is dressed to the nines in pirate gear. He's wearing a big piratey hat with a skull & crossbones on it, a patch over one eye, he carries a swashbuckling sword and he even has a wooden leg. Must have pinned up his bandages for that one.
Last, but by no means least, there's the friendly ghost trying to change up his squeaky clean image by going out this year as the devil. He's added some red horns to his head, a red tail to his behind, and he carries a red trident. He's topped off the look with a black bowtie and red cape.
Each trick & treater carries a pumpkin treat bag but instead of being filled with treats I think they've been tricked! Because instead of overflowing with candy, these zippered pumpkin bags contain little critters, either a bat (yikes!), a spider (eek!) or a worm (eew!)!! To see which critter comes with your favorite character, see the individual pictures to see who shows up there with 'em.
Finally, as if these character weren't scary (or, well, don’t tell them I said so...just simply cute!) enough, they each make a sound when squeezed. I think it's their attempt at a frightening monster laugh, meant to shiver you to your timbers. Once again though, it's just more cute then they probably intended, being that they are a group of most intimidating monsters!
There is a battery contained within the plush for the sound box, but it is not replaceable once it wears out.
Dimensions: Each is approximately 8" tall.
Trick & Treaters Halloween Plush Monster Characters are Surface Washable.
